Playboy, Hugh Hefner et la révolution sexuelle
C'est finalement Brett Ratner, réalisateur des Rush Hour, qui a réussi à prendre les commandes de Playboy, le biopic sur le fondateur mythique du magazine du même nom, et a même convaincu le principal intéressé. Ratner considère Hugh Hefner comme le parrain de la révolution sexuelle et, bien au-delà, comme un défenseur des droits civils et de la liberté d'expression. La vie peu commune de cet homme, et souvent liée à une histoire plus globale, ne manquant pas d'intérêt, il y a de bonnes chances d'en voir ressortir un bon film. De la politique, des combats civiques, de la controverse, du romanesque, du sexe, des bimbos, et peu de violence sans doute : ce type semble avoir vécu pour finir un jour dans une production hollywoodienne.
